Brock Tully
Brock Tully is an internationally known speaker and author of 9 best selling books, selling over140,000 copies. He has one goal when delivering a keynote presentation: To offer a heart-warming, thought-provoking, multi-media presentation that will inspire audiences so they leave with a smile on their face and a reminder to stop and listen to their heart.
In the 1970s Brock found himself depressed and suicidal so he decided to take a bike trip, a decision that would change the course of his life. He shares how this 10,000 mile journey, as one of the first people to ever tour Canada, U.S. & Mexico on a 10 speed bicycle with a 50 lb. pack on his back, ended up being a 12 inch journey from his head to his heart.
Speaking topics
- REFLECT. RECHARGE, RECONNECT TO OUR PURPOSE!
Brock’s inspiring keynote excites audiences, who arrive listening with their ears and leave listening with their hearts. In school, we learn to listen with our ears and as the years go by, we gradually stop listening to our hearts. This is why there is low morale, depression, absenteeism and low productivity in the workplace as well as challenges in personal relationships. As a popular teenager Brock listened with his ears and although he looked fine on the outside, on the inside he was depressed and suicidal. A decision to embark on a bicycle trip around North America saved his life. Brock discovered, during his 50,000 KM bicycle trip, that it was really a 12 inch journey from his head back to his heart. Brock shares why taking the time to reflect on the work we do and why we are doing it, Reconnect to the path we have chosen and determine if it still fills us with passion and purpose and Recharge by listening with our heart and not with our ears.
“…i’d rather be seen for who i am and be alone… than be accepted for someone i’m not and be lonely.”“…when i think …i need to belong… i often follow others… when i follow my heart, i feel i belong regardless of others.”
- DIVERSITY FROM THE HEART
After three Epic Bike trips around North America, meeting thousands of people from all different walks of life, Brock discovered the best approach to Diversity in the Workplace and in Life, is from the Heart. No matter the age, style of dress, religious beliefs or color of skin, Brock strives to only see a person’s heart. Many diversity programs are created to celebrate and acknowledge our differences but lack the ability to create a connection. Brock approaches Diversity programs by celebrating not only what makes us each unique and special but more importantly how we are all the same on the inside. When we look beyond what the eye can see and listen to our heart, we only see what connects us as human beings.
“…by being willing to take the risk to be different, we may find that ‘deep down’ we’re all the same…
…by trying to be the same we are often afraid of those who may ‘appear’ different.”
- KINDNESS TAKES HEART WORK
Through heart-warming stories, thought-provoking insights and entertaining anecdotes, from 3 epic bicycle trips ‘around’ North America (50,000 km), Brock’s audiences gain insight into ‘why’ we lose touch with our hearts and ‘how’ we can reconnect with ourselves and others. Discover how to be more excited and inspired to be more giving and involved in creating a happier, healthier, more vibrant and more productive workplace, organization or community.

Speaker testimonials
Wow! What an awesome presentation!! You truly exceeded expectations! I want to thank you so much for making the trip to Las Vegas to speak to my management team at the Domino’s Pizza World Wide Rally. We had quite the collection of speakers and entertainment including Magic Johnson and Penn & Teller. I was absolutely delighted to hear from my team that they found you the most moving speaker over the three days of conferences. Thank you so much for all that you do… you are changing perspective on life!
Brock’s infectious and cheery presentation was rated higher than the other keynote speaker who is known internationally as one of North America’s Top Speakers.
Brock Tully is a Messenger. He is an ambassador of peace and joy, acceptance and kindness. Five stars. Two thumbs up. An award-winning presentation.
This is the first time I have ever been to a seminar where I regretted that it had to end. And, for the first time ever there was not one single negative remark about the Speaker.
I was moved deeply by Brock’s profound and it helped me see how I can be a more positive, thoughtful, and productive person at work, at home, and in my community, but much more than that, it was how it made me ‘feel’. I was so uplifted and inspired and I couldn’t wait to get back to my work & my community so I could be more involved in creating a healthy, more vibrant and happy team. I really saw the benefits, for everyone, of being kind, and the ripple effect it had on all aspects of my life.
I began to realize the wisdom of his words and I felt my hair begin to crawl. The way he enables people to understand themselves and how they feel will help make a better world.
Many people commented that he not only inspired but touched their hearts and souls. It was a pleasure and a blessing.
Over the years, people have responded in a heartfelt way to Brock’s keynote. These themes appear consistently in his feedback: “…it’s not so much what he said, but how great his keynote left me feeling” and “…I wish his keynote had been at the start of the conference, instead of at the end, as it brought everyone together in such a positive way.” Some words that have been used to describe Brock’s keynote: “impactful, empowering, reflective, inspiring, uplifting, enlightening, entertaining, heart-warming, thought-provoking, fun, connecting.”
Brock Tully is a man you feel you have known for years even though you may be meeting him for the very first time. That’s because of how comfortable and calm Brock can make the room. His personality is what makes him such a magnetic individual. Our Rotary Club was honoured to be visited by Brock over the holidays as 2016 has come to a close. One of my many favourite Brock sayings: “Our happiness doesn’t depend on the number of challenges we are handed, but on how they are handled”. I will remember this one forever. We look forward to another Brock ‘talk’ next holiday season if he makes it out to see us here on Oahu at the Ala Moana Hotel.
We all loved the discussion and every evaluation that was submitted was brimming with positive feedback. When Brock Tully speaks, it’s your heart that listens. His message? “Be kind.” When you are kind to yourself and to others, things shift and life begins to change. His metaphors and messages are simple, yet thought provoking. We laughed, we cried, we contemplated. We felt our hearts open as Brock shared stories and messages of love, compassion and kindness. He lifted the veil from our black and white world to show us another one filled with colour. The theme of our workshop was “Creating a Culture of Kindness in the Workplace”. We left feeling inspired and committed to caring, supporting and being kind to one another. How great is that!
Over the years, both Donna and I have attended numerous events for personal development and growth. Several have been financial in nature, religious, self-esteem and educational, but you zeroed in on KINDNESS so beautifully. It was such a pleasure to have met you and we enjoyed your personal stories immensely. You had the audience in the palm of your hand. It was evident by the questions asked by those in attendance that you had touched their hearts.
I am so happy that we chose Brock to be our guest speaker. He was truly a breath of fresh air, and his positive energy really changes the mood of everyone around! Our event theme was on kindness and respect. Brock shared bits of his journey, as well as stories behind his books. The night also included a magic act and juggling! Lots of laughs were heard throughout the night, and the audience seemed quite engaged. I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed a guest speaker quite so much!
Brock Tully’s presentation on kindness and respect truly captivated the audience. His warm and thought provoking “reflections” inspired all who were in attendance.
I really enjoyed Mr. Tully’s session at the 2017 Teacher Convention in Grande Prairie. The people who were in attendance with me were totally enthralled by his message of kindness. There was not an uninteresting moment throughout his whole story or during his meaningful messages. In my personal journal, I wrote down many of the insightful and inspiring quotes that he shared with us. It is a gentle reminder that God does speak to us with whispers of wisdom. I borrowed his idea about his bracelets and I used it with my students during Lent, which is about a “change of heart” for the good. For them and for their teacher, it was an excellent way to bring kindness to the forefront each and every day. Thank-you!
I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback. Brock is a delight and yes he met our expectations. His message was simple but very important and it was a great reminder to our colleagues.
